Who uses Xcelrate UDI?

We do not release our client information. More than 500 surgical and procedure facilities in the US across multiple healthcare networks use our solution.

 

Do you provide training for manufacturer users?

We provide virtual and in-person training and can also facilitate a train-the-trainer session should the client require. Training includes:

  • An overview of the UDI System

  • How to install, configure and use our barcode scanning solution

  • Troubleshooting support (faulty barcodes, scanning issues, etc.)

  • Dashboards and data analysis 

Do you provide support for localized regulation for international clients?

Absolutely. Our barcode scanning technology taps directly into local recall databases to ensure information is timely and relevant to users. Since most manufacturers operate internationally and comply with international barcode regulations, our application is primed to support international clients. 

 

What if we don’t have an inventory suite?

Our barcode scanning application includes an inventory module for facilities who do not have a supply management system.  It also integrates with existing inventory software to track inventory use and waste.  

 

How do you manage manufacturer data captured using barcode scanning technology?

All the data captured is parsed into the healthcare facility’s health record, consolidating information housed in multiple databases in one solution. Missing or inaccurate data is reported directly to the manufacturer to ensure our dataset is as complete as possible, in real-time.

Does the barcode scanning application capture patient health information?

No, we do not capture patient information. If a client requires support, we are able to provide unique identifiers that match data and can assist with recall notices.

 

How much does Xcelrate UDI’s barcode scanning application cost?

Customers pay by annual subscription, with tiered pricing based on the client’s facility. Custom packages are available. There is no limit to the number of users.
